McCall confirms Osborne blow

Bradford City youngster Leon Osborne faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines after damaging ankle ligaments.

The 20-year-old midfielder suffered the injury during the midweek reserve team match against Grimsby Town's second string.

Bantams boss Stuart McCall told the Telegraph & Argus: "There are no bones broken but ligament damage can take just as long to heal.

"We'll get a better idea when the swelling has gone down, but unfortunately it looks a bad one."
