McCall chases new striker

Bradford City boss Stuart McCall believes his Bantams side are light of a striker and he will try and dip into the loan market to reinforce his options.

With the League Two side facing Accrington Stanley at the Coral Windows Stadium on Saturday, he is hopeful of acquiring a new face before the game.

James Hanson, Michael Boulding and Peter Thorne all remain on the sidelines and McCall thinks it is a critical situation.

Speaking to the Telegraph and Argus, he said: "We definitely need someone who can give us something off the bench.

"We're very limited at the minute to change things late on in the game going forward.

"It's not just players in your first 11, it's what's underneath that. You do need to have options to change things."
