Jackson hopes to learn fate after Crewe clash
Published : 02 May 2011 13:00:01

Bradford interim manager Peter Jackson hopes to learn whether he will be handed the job on a permanent basis after the final game of the season against Crewe.Jackson was installed as a temporary replacement following the departure of Peter Taylor in February and saw his side clinch the point necessary to guarantee their survival in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Hereford. When quizzed over his future Jackson said: "Well he's (joint chairman Mark Lawn) just given me his club tie, so maybe that is a sign!"I gave my tie to a fan after the game and Mark gave me his - maybe he's trying to tell me something for next season."In all honesty though, I'm not sure about things at present. Hopefully we'll all know a bit more after the Crewe fixture next week."Things like players' contracts and pre-season need to be organised soon enough for next season. We have some pre-season fixtures arranged already, but it would be sensible to get everything arranged as soon as possible."
