    Heckingbottom back with City

    16 Jul 2007 - 13:09:24

Bradford City manager Stuart McCall has brought Barnsley defender Paul Heckingbottom back to the club on a long-term loan deal.

The 29-year-old made 45 appearances for the Bantams during his initial spell at Valley Parade in the 2003-04 campaign before signing for Sheffield Wednesday.

Heckingbottom moved from Wednesday to Barnsley, initially on loan, in January 2006 making 53 first-team appearances for the Tykes.

He started his career as a trainee at Manchester United but made his name at Darlington, making more than 100 appearances for the Quakers before joining Norwich City and then Bradford.
