Flynn signs for Bantams

Former Gillingham skipper Michael Flynn has signed for Bradford City ahead of their opening League Two game on Saturday. The 28-year-old has joined the Bantams from local rivals Huddersfield Town and is expected to partner Lee Bullock in the centre of midfield this season. He will take the number four shirt this season, the number synonymous with new boss Stuart McCall. Speaking to the Telegraph & Argus, Flynn said: "I didn't know about the significance of the number four shirt here but it was good for me when I wore it for Gillingham and scored double figures in League One, so hopefully I can get more than ten this season."
