Bantams duo struggling

Bradford could be without both Andrew Davies and Kyel Reid against promotion rivals Rotherham.

Defender Davies is struggling with a back problem and Reid has suffered a slight recurrence of the groin injury that kept him out at the back end of last year.

"They're both not serious injuries," said manager Phil Parkinson. "Whether Tuesday comes too soon for them we'll have to wait and see."

"Andrew's is not a muscle problem, it's more coming from his back.

"It's not something we're overly concerned with, but it's something which has flared up a few times of late and he felt it in Saturday's warm-up.

"Kyle's groin tightened up. Nothing like the injury he got before Christmas. We'll monitor that, but I don't think it's too serious."

If they miss out Michael Nelson is likely to continue at the heart of defence and Will Atkinson in a wide midfield role.

Parkinson has no other new injury worries as his side look to open up a four-point gap between themselves and eighth-placed Exeter.

Rotherham are sweating on the fitness of top scorer Daniel Nardiello.

The 19-goal striker hobbled off in the eighth minute of Saturday's 2-1 win over Fleetwood with a foot injury sustained while giving the Millers the lead two minutes earlier.

Boss Steve Evans has rated his chances at 50/50 and insists he will not risk the former Manchester United man unless he is fully fit in a game that could see the Millers move into the top three with a win.

Daniel Kearns has missed the last three games with an Achilles injury but he is now back in contention, although he is unlikely to start given the form of widemen Ben Pringle and Kieran Agard.

Mark Bradley (foot) is a doubt but Claude Davis is fit again after a dead leg and will hope to earn a start.

The match sees a first return to Valley Parade for Evans since he - and Davis - were involved in a mass brawl while at Crawley last season, which resulted the Millers boss receiving a six-match stadium ban earlier this campaign.
