Bradford City youngster Sam Filler has joined Middlesbrough for a undisclosed fee.
The 18-year-old goalkeeper had trials spells at both Boro and Newcastle United this season and has now joined the Teesside outfit on a permanent basis.
The promising keeper had yet to make an appearance for the first team at the League Two club.
"(Boro chief executive) Keith Lamb sent us an offer in October and Newcastle also expressed a very strong interest, but Middlesbrough recently came back in for him and doubled their original offer," revealed joint-chairman Julian Rhodes.
"This is another feather in the cap for our youth department."
