Bradford City have named the former Leicester City and Hull City boss Peter Taylor as their new manager.
The 57-year-old, who also managed the England Under-21 side, has agreed a contract that will keep him at Valley Parade until the end of the season.
Taylor replaces Stuart McCall, who stepped down last week following the home defeat to Bury that left the Bantams in the bottom half of the League Two table.
A statement on City's official website read: "The deal can and will be extended should both parties feel happy with proceedings between now and the conclusion of the current campaign.
"The board will, however, also still exercise the option of holding interviews with other potential applicants during that period should they see fit."
Taylor parted company with Wycombe Wanderers in October following the Chairboys' disappointing start to their League One campaign.
