The 36-year-old veteran, who opted to take a pay cut to remain at the Bantams, will compete for a place in Stuart McCall's starting line-up along with Michael Boulding, James Hanson and Gareth Evans, and Thorne is full of praise for all of them. "Hanson's a big lad, so he is always going to be a handful with his size. The gaffer's done well giving him this chance and I like the look of him," he told the Telegraph & Argus. "I think he'll be a really good player for us. "Gareth is a class act too. He's got great fitness, is great with the ball and looks a good all-round striker. "Micky's come back a different class. He has looked powerful from day one. At the end of the day, whoever plays best has got to play. "If I'm not doing that then I'm not going to moan. We're a team and we're all there for the success of the side."
