Thorne could return to face County

Thorne has missed the last eight matches due to a hamstring injury but manager Stuart McCall has hinted the club's leading goalscorer from last season could play some part at Valley Parade. Fellow striker Gareth Evans will sit out the second game of a three-match ban following his controversial dismissal last week at Morecambe. McCall was forced to play midfielder Lee Bullock up front alongside Michael Boulding in Saturday's draw at Northampton as James Hanson was struggling with illness. Hanson could also return to the squad, but McCall will have no qualms about keeping Bullock in attack after he and Boulding impressed on Saturday. Bradford, unbeaten in their last eight matches, beat Rochdale in the first round.
