Taylor, who succeeded Stuart McCall a month ago, saw his charges record their second successive home win under his stewardship after holding off a strong second-half fightback from the visitors.[LNB]Goals from James Hanson and Omar Daley cancelled out Anthony Straker's eighth-minute opener and Taylor praised the way his players recovered from the early setback, calling on his team to maintain their mini revival as the campaign nears the run-in.[LNB]"It was a poor start by us and we got punished," he said. "They were better than us at the start and we should have stopped their goal, but the players showed great character and togetherness and they deserve a lot of credit for that.[LNB]"Aldershot had a lot of the ball at the start of the game and our crowd started getting at the players, but then James scored a great goal. I didn't think he would reach the ball and then Omar scored a terrific goal.[LNB]"The players know they have not had such a good season and we have got to get some good results to get some pride back."[LNB][LNB]
