Taylor chases Chilaka

Bradford want to offer striker Chib Chilaka a short-term contract but will not be pursuing their interest in Sebastien Carole or Malvin Kamara. All three players have been on trial at Valley Parade in recent weeks and manager Peter Taylor is keen to keep Nigeria-born Chilaka. Taylor said: "Chib will come in (on Thursday) to see if we can sit down and agreed something. I think he will be up for it. Chib wants the chance to learn from playing with us. "But I've let the other two go only because we've got Leon Osborne and Omar Daley in the building. "I did explain it to them when they first came in and said that wasn't the main position I was looking for. But both of them have been absolutely first class." Chilaka signed non-contract terms in August and featured as a second-half substitute against Preston in the Carling Cup.
