Symes returns to haunt Bantams

Bradford took the lead after 20 minutes when Phil Edwards turned Michael Flynn's cross into his own net.[LNB]The Bantams almost increased their lead five minutes before half-time when Simon Ramsden saw his header stopped on the line by Accrington goalkeeper Ian Dunbavin.[LNB]Stanley stepped up the pressure after the break and home keeper Simon Eastwood was forced to dive full length to keep out a shot from John Miles.[LNB]However, the visitors deservedly equalised after 56 minutes when a pass from Bobby Grant found Symes unmarked on the edge of the penalty area and he beat Eastwood with a low left-foot shot.[LNB]Bradford were handed a great chance to snatch victory two minutes from the end when Grant handled Luke O'Brien's corner but Gareth Evans fired wide from the penalty spot. Then, in a frantic finish, substitute Michael Boulding saw his shot rebound off the post.[LNB][LNB]
