Bradford defender Simon Ramsden is hoping to return to full training early in the new year. The 29-year-old has been sidelined for all but the first week of the season due to hip and groin problems, but is expected to join up with the first-team squad next month. City manager Peter Taylor said: "Ramsden is coming back into contention and I think he'll be training with us the first week in January. "You've got the others as well, so it's going to make a difference to us." Midfielder Michael Flynn (double hernia) is another player yet to appear for the Bantams this season, while defender Lewis Hunt has been out since September with knee ligament damage, but both are making good progress.
