McLaughlin, 21, joined last summer from Harrogate Town but was understudy to Rhys Evans, who has now left the club, and had to wait until the last-day win at Chesterfield to make his first-team debut.[LNB]McLaughlin said: "I haven't signed the actual contract yet, but I've had the letter through saying I've been offered one.[LNB]"I've just had to reply to that and I was happy to accept it. I've agreed for another season and the terms are pretty much the same. Now I'll see what I can do."[LNB]McCall is expected to draft in another goalkeeper on loan for next season following Evans' departure, but McLaughlin will be vying for a regular starting spot.[LNB]He added: "Having made my debut now I know I can compete at that level at least. I'm definitely wanting to see how I can go further this season and looking to get involved as much as I can."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
