McCall wary of Forest challenge

City crashed to their heaviest opening-day defeat, 5-0 at Sven-Goran Eriksson's County, and McCall has demanded his players regain some lost pride when they travel to the City Ground in the first round of the Carling Cup on Wednesday. He told the club's official website: "We need a result as quickly as we can after Saturday. I wouldn't have picked Forest as the ideal next game, but we've got to go there and try to do well. "It will be tough challenge, but we need to regain a bit of credit. And we'll have to defend extremely well against them, far better than we did against County. "I can't defend the indefensible. It was horrendous and you struggle to find anyone who comes out with any credit. The pressure is on from day one after a result like that."
