McCall to preserve Daley fitness

Jamaica international Daley, sidelined since February due to a serious cruciate knee ligament injury, completed the first half for the Bantams' reserves this week, but McCall is urging caution as the 28-year-old starts to build up his match fitness.[LNB]McCall said: "It was good to see him back in a Bradford shirt, it will have done him good to get 45 minutes under his belt and he came through unscathed which is good, though he did pick up a yellow card due to a bit of frustration.[LNB]"It was a good introduction back in for him, though he will need a lot of games before he's going to be in contention for the first team.[LNB]"He's been out a long, long time, so he will need a lot more football. We'll look to build it up from 45 (minutes) to 60 to 75 and then maybe a 90.[LNB]"It's just unfortunate that we're coming into a time of year when the weather is normally quite bad, but we're hopeful that we can get some reserves games in and don't get many called off, so we can get him some minutes under his belt."[LNB][LNB]
