McCall to make Bantams decision

McCall has threatened to quit the club after missing out on the play-offs and spent three hours in a meeting with joint-chairmen Mark Lawn and Julian Rhodes on Tuesday. The Scot was informed that if he did stay he would have to dramatically reduce the club's wage bill before next season and Lawn has revealed that McCall has asked for more time to mull over his decision. "We spent around three-and-a-half hours with Stuart, discussing the budget and how it will work," Lawn told the Yorkshire Post. "There are a few hard decisions to be made and Stuart wants to go away to think about them. With the budget we have set, there will have to be quite a bit of player movement. "The plan now is for him to come back to us on Thursday and then pass that decision on to the press at his weekly press conference later in the day."
