McCall takes positives from defeat
Calvin Zola scored twice to put Crewe in control early on before Michael Boulding pulled one back for the Bantams.
Steven Schumacher then restored Alex's two-goal advantage and although James Hanson set up a grandstand finish the visitors held
on.
McCall said: "They've got forward players that will cause teams problems and we just had to defend a little bit better than we did on certain occasions.
"We got a goal at a great time just before half-time and we felt if we came out and put pressure on them we could get the victory.
"But I'm really pleased with the determination after we went 3-1 down. I definitely believe we should have got something out of the game and a lot of the play pleased me. I'm disappointed to lose the game, but not in the way we played."
