McCall said: "We played really well and certainly deserved to win the game, there can be no doubts about that.
"We may have made life difficult for ourselves by not getting the second goal. We said at the break that we needed another goal to just make things that little bit more comfortable.
"The breaks didn't come, but the result was more important than the extent of the win.
"We got the one goal and if you keep a clean sheet then you get the three points and we did just that, so I'm happy with the result."
