McCall hopes to seal Rehman deal

Rehman arrived from QPR in January and was a virtual ever-present in City's starting line-up, making 17 appearances, and McCall wants to keep the 25-year-old in his streamlined squad.[LNB]But goalkeeper Rhys Evans, defenders Mark Bower and Paul Heckingbottom and striker Barry Conlon have all been released, while Kyle Nix will return for pre-season training only if he has failed to find another club.[LNB]McCall, who has had his playing budget slashed by a third for next season, is hoping big earners Graeme Lee, Paul McLaren and Michael Boulding will move on in the summer, but will start talks with leading goalscorer Peter Thorne about his future next week.[LNB]The Bantams boss is also keen on keeping on-loan players Nicky Law (Sheffield United), Dean Furman (Rangers) and Steve Jones (Burnley).[LNB][LNB]
