Jacobs keen to land Bantams job

The former City player, who was McCall's assistant, was in charge for Saturday's draw with Grimsby at Valley Parade and is among a host of candidates being interviewed for a caretaker manager role by City's joint-chairmen Julian Rhodes and Mark Lawn.[LNB]The duo are set to make a permanent appointment in the summer and Jacobs told BBC Radio Leeds: "I love the club and I'm sure and confident I could help the club move forward.[LNB]"I think we can progress that club and that's my thinking about the decision to go for the interview."[LNB]"I thought long and hard about whether to apply for the interview.
