Jackson puts faith in youth

Bradford manager Peter Jackson could name three teenagers on his bench for the home game with Crewe. Jackson, who has no new injury or suspension problems, is keen to hand youth-team skipper Alex Flett, a midfielder, winger Dominic Rowe and striker Darren Stephenson a taste of first-team action. Rowe and Stephenson have both stepped off the bench already this season for Jackson's side, while Flett is hoping to make his first appearance. All three players are 18. Tommy Doherty will not be involved as he has had his contract terminated by mutual consent, but fellow midfielder Tom Adeyemi, on loan from Norwich, is hoping to return for the last game of the season after missing out in recent weeks due to a thigh injury. Midfielder Michael Flynn (hamstring) misses out again and on-loan winger Kevin Ellison has returned to parent club Rotherham.
