The 34-year-old has been looking for a new club since being released by Sheffield United in January. The former Sheffield United man has been training with the Bantams for the past two weeks though Stuart McCall had insisted there was nothing more in it than that. But the 34-year-old has impressed McCall with his attitude earning himself a short-term deal. McCall told the club's website: "Looking at the bigger picture, we have 10 games to go which will be a tense, nervous time and Keith has had experience at the highest level. "He has fantastic ability and will be a big addition to the squad. "Keith initially just came in for training and had no pressure put on him. But he is desperate to play, putting himself in the shop window." The former Manchester United, Newcastle and Blackburn winger will play for the reserves at Barnsley on Wednesday.
