The 21-year-old striker scored 13 times for the Silkmen last season in a side which spent much of the campaign in the lower reaches of League Two, and he hopes he will improve on that at his new club. Evans told the Bradford Telegraph and Argus that he is relishing the prospect of joining the Bantams' experienced strike force and hopes to lead the club to promotion. He said: "I know of Peter Thorne and Michael Boulding. They are both prolific strikers, highly experienced at this level and I can't fail to learn from them. "Any team needs goalscorers and hopefully me, Peter and Michael can do just that. We need to be going up. "Last season I scored 13 goals in a team that wasn't particularly high in the league but I'd like to think that at a club this size I'll get a lot more."
