Evans leaves it late to down Gulls
Evans had restored parity in the 83rd minute after United took a 15th minute lead through central defender Chris Robertson, who fired the Gulls ahead after Bradford failed to clear Danny Stevens' corner.[LNB]At the end of the first half, United pressed for a second with Danny Stevens smashing a shot on the run just wide.[LNB]In the 77th minute Bantams captain Simon Ramsden cleared brilliantly off the line to keep out Stevens' measured shot from 12 yards.[LNB]Bradford's Omar Daley was denied by Michael Poke's point blank save but when the corner came across Evans hooked the ball home at the far post.[LNB]His winner came when Torquay failed to deal with a searching Ramsden free-kick and he gleefully smashed past Poke.[LNB][LNB]
