Daley earns Taylor praise

Bradford City manager Peter Taylor was full of praise for striker Omar Daley following Bradford's 5-0 thumping of Oxford. The Jamaican international bagged a brace, while Lee Hendrie's penalty and further strikes from Dave Syers and Louis Moult sealed the rout. However, the game was marred by the three red cards issued as Mark Creighton and Jake Wright were dismissed for Oxford and James Hanson saw red for the Bantams. Creighton received a second bookable offence for tripping Daley, while Hanson and fellow visiting defender Wright followed him to the dressing room for their part in the ensuing brawl. Taylor said: "I said Omar Daley at half-time that he owed me a goal. I thought he should have scored in the first half but he then scored two goals and shook me right up. "Both were quality goals. The first goal was ten times harder than the chance he missed at Burton the week before. "That was a well-taken goal and the second goal was magnificent. Jim Henson made the header to lay on the chance for the first goal and Omar was smarter than the Oxford defence."
