Dale boss hits back over Ramsden

Defender Ramsden, 27, has agreed a one-year deal, with an option for a further season, with the Bantams. McCall has denied that Bradford offered the right-back a more lucrative deal than Rochdale. However, Hill told Dale's official website: "I don't know what Stuart McCall is doing, whether he is hiding behind a propaganda vehicle or something. "My guess is that he has asked players to take a cut in wages and he is using the money to bring in players like Rammers. The figures I have been told will mean Simon will get a hefty pay rise in comparison to the one he was on here. "The truth is he has gone to Bradford and he is being paid more money. Simon Ramsden is looking after his own financial future and you cannot knock him for that, but for McCall to come out and say he is on the same money, well it is not the case."
