The 33-year-old joined the Bantams from Huddersfield in the summer, but he sustained an ankle injury almost immediately and only made his debut in the 5-0 victory over Aldershot on March 7.
Brandon started in Saturday's draw with Brentford and after lasting 70 minutes, he feels he could be back to his best for the busy Easter period.
"I'll go out and give my all but your body has got to adapt. I feel I'm getting there and it's been improving along the way," he told the Telegraph and Argus.
"But Saturday did me the world of good, playing for about 70 minutes against the leaders. We've got two big games over Easter and I want to be at my sharpest."
