Thorne, leading goalscorer at Valley Parade last season, has made only five appearances this time round for Stuart McCall's side due to a troublesome hamstring and calf problem.[LNB]The 36-year-old former Stoke, Cardiff and Norwich forward, who last appeared as a substitute for the Bantams in their Johnstone's Paint Trophy penalty shootout win over Notts County in early October, suffered a setback last month when stepping up his rehabilitation.[LNB]Thorne was not included in this week's behind-closed-door friendly defeat to Hull, which McCall used to assess the fitness of winger Omar Daley among others.[LNB][LNB][LNB]
