McCall, who attended a personal hearing with disciplinary chiefs in London, escaped a touchline ban after denying he used foul and abusive language towards match officials at Luton in January. The 44-year-old, sent to the stand during the first half of his side's 3-3 draw at Kenilworth Road after contesting a free-kick decision, was fined for encroaching the field of play from the technical area. Luton manager Mick Harford was also fined £1,000 and warned about his future behaviour after admitting two charges of improper conduct - for comments made direct to referee Trevor Kettle and later to the press - during the same match. Hatters skipper Kevin Nicholls, also charged with improper conduct, has been handed a five-game ban and fined £1,000, while the Bedfordshire club has been fined £2,000 for failing to control its players. Meanwhile, Bradford's assistant manager Wayne Jacobs has been charged with improper conduct after being sent to the stands during the 3-0 defeat at Spotland earlier this month.
