Bradford's FA Cup giant killers dominate Feb League One PFA Fans' Player of the Month contenders

Bradford have been the cock of the north since the turn of the year, with a trio of players helping the Bantams take flight in league and cup.

FA Cup giant-killings against Chelsea and Sunderland have had a positive effect on their league form, and James Hanson, Jon Stead and Billy Clarke have been inspirational.

Bradford have forced their way into the play-off picture on the back of a five-match unbeaten run, and they now have Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United in their sights.

The Blades have enjoyed some cup success of their own this season, although their focus now is totally on promotion from League One.

Jamie Murphy, with six goals in seven games, Jose Baxter and Matt Done have provided a boost for Nigel Clough – and the boot for Coventry boss Stephen Pressley after the weekend draw.

Swindon have slipped up of late, but striker Andy Williams is still banging in the goals and remains the division’s leading marksmen on 19.

MK Dons got back to winning ways with back-to-back victories against Colchester and Peterborough whose 3-0 defeat meant the end of the line for Darren Ferguson.

Leading scorer Dele Alli was the match winner against Colchester and, when he was ruled out through injury, Ben Reeves stepped up to the plate with a brace to punish Posh.

Bristol City continue to lead the way at the top of League One, despite an inconsistent month, with Aden Flint providing good goalscoring back-up for Agard and Emmanuel-Thomas.

Ian Henderson (Rochdale) and Liam McAlinden (Fleetwood) have also maintained their own fine form, and could figure in the final player of the month standings – but who will get your vote?
