Hanson still doubtful for Bantams

Bradford striker James Hanson remains doubtful for the home game against Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United.

Hanson has missed the last six games due to a thigh injury and will be closely monitored by boss Phil Parkinson, who will definitely be without suspended midfielder Gary Liddle.

Liddle received his fifth booking of the season in last weekend's defeat at Barnsley and sits out a one-game ban, so Matty Dolan and Filipe Morais will be vying for a return to the starting line-up.

Parkinson has no other new injury problems, but on-loan Derby striker Mason Bennett has been recalled by his parent club.

Sheffield United will be without suspended striker Michael Higdon, who completes a three-match ban for his straight red card in the recent defeat at Chesterfield.

Otherwise, manager Nigel Clough will have a near full-strength squad to choose from and could name an unchanged starting line-up following last week's dramatic home draw against Leyton Orient.

Striker Jose Baxter made his first league start in a month following a hamstring injury and is expected to continue, while winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce is pushing for a place in the starting line-up.

The Blades are bidding for their first win in four meetings with Bradford, their last success being at Bramall Lane in March 2004.
