Bradford's Tony McMahon out injured

Bradford will once again be without midfielder Tony McMahon for their Valley Parade clash with Port Vale.

McMahon missed last week's draw at Barnsley with a virus and has been told to stay away from the club until his illness clears up.

Bantams boss Phil Parkinson could stick with the same starting line-up against Vale after declaring no fresh injury concerns.

It is set to mean a home debut for on-loan defender Lee Evans, who impressed on his first outing for the club at Oakwell.

Vale boss Rob Page is confident his group of players are fit enough to cope with the demands placed on them this week.

Page named an unchanged side for Tuesday's Capital One Cup tie at West Brom and saw his men hold their Barclays Premier League hosts to a 0-0 draw over 120 minutes before Albion triumphed on penalties.

It will come as little surprise if he sticks with the same team again, a week on from them having beaten Doncaster 3-0 at home in the league.

Midfielder Michael O'Connor (knee) and goalkeeper Chris Neal (ankle), both yet to feature this season, are working their way back to fitness but remain doubtful for Saturday's fixture.
