Duke banned for Bantams

Bradford will be without goalkeeper Matt Duke when they return to npower League Two action against Dagenham.

Duke was sent off for a professional foul during the Bantam's 5-0 loss to Swansea in the Capital One Cup final on Sunday and must serve a one-match ban.

Jon McLaughlin came on for the remainder of the Wembley showpiece and will deputise in Duke's absence.

Boss Phil Parkinson believes Ryan Dickson has played the final match of his loan spell from Southampton after it was revealed the left-back faces an operation to correct an ankle problem that could mean up to six months on the sidelines.

Rory McArdle lined up in defence against Swansea having overcome an ankle injury and is set to continue having completed the 90 minutes.

Forward Andy Gray is available again after being cup tied, while Zavon Hines and Kyle Reid are pushing for starts.

Wayne Burnett has a fully-fit squad to choose from as Dagenham begin life without John Still.

Still's departure to take over at Blue Square Bet Premier side Luton and end a nine-year spell in charge of the Daggers was confirmed on Tuesday.

In an official statement outlining the terms of the move, Dagenham announced Burnett would be installed as interim manager until the end of the season.

It read: "For continuity, and in recognition of tremendous work he has already shown, the club have appointed assistant manager Wayne Burnett as the interim manager until the end of the season.

"Wayne has impressed the board when deputising for John in the past and has managed at local sides Fisher Athletic and Grays Athletic in the past."

Dagenham have been unchanged for the last four matches but Burnett has options available if he decides to shuffle his pack following consecutive defeats to Gillingham and AFC Wimbledon.
