Big guns back for Bradford

Bradford manager Phil Parkinson is expected to recall the likes of skipper Gary Jones, Nahki Wells and James Hanson for the home game against Brentford.

Parkinson made six changes for the midweek Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash at Hartlepool, but goalkeeper Connor Ripley, centre-half Matt Taylor, midfielders Jason Kennedy and Ricky Ravenhill, plus wingers Raffaele De Vita and Mark Yeates did little to further their cause in a 5-0 thrashing.

Goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin, midfielder Jones, strikers Wells and Hanson, defender Andrew Davies and winger Kyel Reid are all expected to return to the starting line-up.

Parkinson has no new injury or suspension worries as Bradford chase a third straight home league win.

George Saville could be missing for Brentford.

The on-loan Chelsea midfielder had to go off after taking a kick on the ankle during the first half of Tuesday night's 5-3 Johnstone's Paint Trophy win over AFC Wimbledon.

But skipper Tony Craig returns from suspension and fellow defender Jake Bidwell is fit after an ankle injury, while Harlee Dean, Adam Forshaw, Alan McCormack and Clayton Donaldson return after they were rested against the Dons..

Midfielder Jonathan Douglas (knee) and goalkeeper Richard Lee (shoulder) are still absent, although the latter hopes to resume full training next week after six months out.
