Alex and Bantams share six goals

Crewe let a two-goal lead slip as Bradford stormed back to earn a thrilling 3-3 draw.

Uche Ikpeazu scored twice for Crewe on his recall to the side before James Hanson and Gary Jones hit back to make it 2-2. Mathias Pogba put Crewe back in front only for Batams skipper Jones to strike his second and the sixth goal of a frantic 90 minutes.

With a strong wind at their backs, Crewe seized an 11th minute lead when Anthony Grant took advantage of defensive hesitancy by Carl McHugh and fed Ikpeazu. The teenager saw goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin off his line and judged his lobbed shot to perfection.

Ikpeazu drilled his second in the 54th minute when keeper Jon McLaughlin could only parry Chuks Aneke's shot straight to him.

That was the cue for City's fight-back with Hanson and Jones firing past Ben Garratt in the 58th and 59th minutes as Crewe's defence went to sleep.

And after Hanson spurned an open goal, Pogba almost burst the net with an angled drive with 12 minutes to go before Jones powered home his second to rescue a point.
