Steven Davies scores winner for Bradford against Millwall

Substitute Steven Davies netted a late winner as Bradford climbed into the Sky Bet League One play-off places with a 1-0 win at home to Millwall.

Davies had only been on the pitch for four minutes when he headed in Nathan Clarke's cross to earn the Bantams a third victory in four games.

In a game played in windy conditions, Bradford went close to taking the lead when Tony McMahon curled a 20-yard free-kick just wide.

Aiden O'Brien lifted a shot over the Millwall crossbar after good work from Steve Morison before Bradford's Jamie Proctor had an effort ruled out for offside.

Morison was denied a late equaliser when his shot with four minutes remaining was kept out by Ben Williams.

Millwall's first loss in seven games leaves them fifth, eight points adrift of the automatic promotion places.
