Bantams start search for a star

04 July 2009 15:09
Starting on Monday July 27, the scheme will involve children from under-eights to under-16s and one youth from each age group will be awarded a place in the club's centre of excellence. "We see these trials as a perfect way to try and find undiscovered youngsters," said Peter Horne, the centre of excellence manager. "The city of Bradford is one of the largest multicultural cities in England. It has a wide range of communities and cultures within its boundaries and it would be criminal if we didn't look at every avenue possible to give these boys a chance to join our ranks."
