Burnley defender Richard Eckersley has completed a loan move to Bradford. Eckersley, 21, who started out at Manchester United, could stay with the Bantams until the start of January. Burnley manager Brian Laws said: "It's been difficult to get Richard games so this is a good opportunity for him. "He's going to a club that gets crowds of 10,000, so he'll be playing in a fantastic atmosphere at a good stadium. He's also going to play under an excellent manager in Peter Taylor so it's a good move all round." Eckersley has had limited exposure at Turf Moor since arriving from Old Trafford in July 2009, making three cup appearances last season and figuring in a Carling Cup tie at Morecambe in August.
