Bantams duo suffer injury setbacks

Striker Thorne, the leading goalscorer at Valley Parade last season, will be out for at least another fortnight after aggravating the hamstring injury that has dogged him since the summer and restricted him to only five appearances this time around. Midfielder O'Leary, a summer signing following his release from Hereford, broke his toe on his debut against Port Vale in August and was hoping to return against his former club on Saturday. But O'Leary has been told to take a complete rest again after a scan revealed his broken toe had not yet healed properly. Manager Stuart McCall could name only six substitutes for last weekend's defeat at Dagenham & Redbridge and is hoping striker Michael Boulding returns to contention after the recurrence of a virus ruled him out.
