Bantams boss looks to cut costs

McCall's budget has been slashed by a third and defender Lee, midfielders Brandon and McLaren and striker Boulding, who all have another year to run on the current deals, have been asked to look for other clubs. McCall said: "The boys know their deals will take up the majority of next year's budget if they are still here. It's not their fault, it's just a fact with the budget being what it is. "Those four lads have every right to come back next season, but if they are here, we're going to have to really get kids in." McCall added: "Those four lads could still come back in the summer and we'd work with them and do the best with what we can. "But from our point of view, it's in the club's best interests for me to build a young squad for next season and for them to move on."
