McCall was forced to rush back Gareth Evans from a foot injury and play midfielder Michael Flynn alongside him in attack against Bournemouth on Saturday as four first-team strikers were ruled out through injury and illness.[LNB]Last season's leading goalscorer Peter Thorne has been restricted to just five appearances since August due to a hamstring injury and Michael Boulding has been struggling in recent weeks with a mystery virus.[LNB]James Hanson missed Saturday's 1-1 draw due to groin and ankle injuries sustained in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy penalty shoot-out win over Port Vale last Tuesday and Leon Osborne is sidelined after sustaining an ankle problem while playing for the reserves last week.[LNB]Meanwhile, Jamaica international winger Omar Daley, yet to appear this season following knee surgery to repair cruciate and medial ligament damage last February, is closing in on his comeback after returning to full training at the end of last month.[LNB][LNB]
