Young commits to Cherries

Bournemouth chairman Jeff Mostyn is pleased that captain Neil Young has penned a new one-year deal with the club.
Following Steve Fletcher's departure from Dean Court earlier this month, Young is by far the longest-serving player at the club having joined the Cherries from Tottenham 13 years ago.
Mostyn told the club's official website: "Securing team captain Neil Young's signature was the perfect end to a great week for the club following the new signing of Jo Kuffour.
"I discussed Neil's contract with him prior to his family holiday to Australia and indeed we had further discussions while he was away.
"Neil was as good as his word in signing immediately upon his return to the UK.
"On the basis that one or two other clubs had understandably shown interest in him, the fact that he has committed himself to the club is another show of confidence in the determination of Kevin (Bond) and me to bring success to Bournemouth."
