Bournemouth goalkeeper Neil Moss will miss the next two matches with concussion.
Moss needed eight stitches in a head wound suffered in Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat by MK Dons and will miss the weekend league clash with Hartlepool United and FA Cup first round replay against Barrow next week.
A challenge from Dons midfielder Mark Wright just before half-time left the keeper nursing a facial wound and mild concussion.
Meanwhile, Cherries boss Kevin Bond admitted he is unhappy with the depth of his squad.
Speaking after the 2-0 cup defeat, he said: "I've got to go into the next game with the same players.
"I can't even rest someone, which is never a healthy situation.
"The players know that they'll keep their places, and I feel uncomfortable with that."
