Experienced goalkeeper Neil Moss has handed Bournemouth boss Sean O'Driscoll a timely boost by returning to training.
Moss has not played since suffering a hairline fracture of his left leg in August, but hopes to return to action when the Cherries face Aldershot in the LDV Vans Trophy on October 18.
"There isn't any pain there so there's no reason why I shouldn't be back in full training later this week and build things up for the LDV game in a couple of weeks," the 30-year-old told the Daily Echo.
"If the manager lets me, I think that would be the ideal game for me to come back in.
"I've seen the specialist who is happy that it is as good as new again and I'm ready to get back into it."
