Bournemouth midfielder Danny Hollands is hoping to be able to agree a new contract to extend his stay with the Cherries.
The 22-year-old was one of few consistent performers for the Cherries last season, as the south coast club suffered relegation to League Two despite a late-season revival.
Hollands told the Daily Echo: "I've been here for two years and love the place and the people. The fans and the lads are great so there would be no problems with staying here.
"I'd like to stay, but it's not always as easy as that. There are a lot of things that go on and you have to agree things. When you get relegated, there is a budget you have to reach as a club.
"I'm not a greedy person by any means, but I just want to be treated fairly. If I am, then I'm sure I will stay."
