Bournemouth have been boosted by the news that defender Josh Gowling has signed a new two-year contract at Dean Court.
The player, who only joined from Danish outfit Herfolge this season, has impressed greatly in the 13 games he has featured in, which prompted boss Sean O'Driscoll to tie him down to a contract extension.
Gowling told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to sign.
"I would like to thank the club for standing by me after my injury, and I'm really pleased to be staying.
"Playing here is the happiest I've been in football and I love this club."
