Bournemouth defender Warren Cummings felt his side were unlucky to lose out 3-1 at Colchester United.
Cummings gave his side the lead after 47 minutes at Layer Road, before the U's stormed back to take all three points.
Afterwards, Cummings told the Daily Echo: "We are very disappointed in the fact that again we went 1-0 up away from home and were not able to see the game out.
"We felt we were naive in the way we continued to press their goal. We were keeping possession, but then trying to hit the money ball a lot of the time rather than controlling the game.
"For a period of time after we scored our goal, it was 'you attack us, we'll attack you' and it was down to the toss of a coin as to how the game was going to go.
"So from that point of view, we're disappointed we couldn't get a stranglehold on the game."
