Bournemouth have landed Chelsea's highly-rated young defender Jack Cork on a month's loan.
The versatile 17-year-old can play anywhere across the back four and has represented England at Under-18 level.
Cork, who is also the Blues' reserve team skipper, has been signed in time to make the squad that will travel to Swansea for Friday evening's League One clash.
And, ahead of the game, Cherries boss Kevin Bond has demanded a response after his side were knocked out of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy by Millwall in midweek.
He told the club's official website: "We've had words and we've had to tell them in no uncertain terms on a couple of occasions, but they've taken it the right way and nobody bears any grudges.
"The confidence isn't what it should be, but the lads aren't down about it. We need to keep plugging away though as nobody else will turn it around."
